Is this a weed? what is it?

Help had this growing for a year now. Don't know what it is? a weed or plant any ideas?Thanks.

    Sorry absolutely no idea but it's not a good looking plant so I would get rid.

    Could it be a Walking Stick Cabbage (Brassica oleracea)?
    Also called Giant Jersey Kale etc.

    Could it be one of the Malvacea ... possibly a tree mallow (lavatera)?

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Thanks dovefromabove its definitely a tree mallow yay not a weed. Hopefully will produce some lovely flowers this year.

    Yep tree mallow they grow like weeds around here in the shingle banks by the sea pretty dark to light pink flowers mostly sometimes the odd white plant. The SW gales and salt air seems to do them no harm.
