Avacoda growing tall

My avacoda plant is growing tall but has lost all bottom leaves   how do I prevent this from happening ... will leaves grow again from the bottom?

Your avocado has ambitions to be a tree and, in poor light, poor humidity, poor temperatures, will shed leaves to save its growing tip.

Have a look at the answers and links on this thread https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/comment/2008723#Comment_2008723 and then think about getting a more suitable, attractive and rewarding houseplant suited to the conditions you have.

  • This was gifted to me as a very small plant from a friend who has now passed away I need to keep it alive thank you for sharing the other link. All I can do is hope to keep it alive and healthy 😀😀🌳🌳🌱

It was probably grown from a stone, we’ve all had a go at that.  I think all drop their leaves.  (Mine certainly did). It probably won’t go on a lot longer anyway.
Why don’t you buy a nice little plant, maybe a rose by the name of the person you want to remember.

  • That's a nice idea   I may do that   for the time being I'll do my best to keep it going and any advice will be truely appreciated

How to care for it is in the California link in that other thread - key words - light, humidity, temperature!
