Yes they are definitely as big as mine@nultyphilip224 however yours look absolutely perfect! Mine are almost flat which is quite odd! Maybe that's just how the Mertonensis ones are?
Not to worry CraigB,..as yours were only planted last season the middle of the rosette has not really started to protrude from the middle,..however i would trip off the aged leaves on the outside,..as @Rubytoo and "@Guernsey Donkey2 has wrote,.. insects and slugs hide under there.
Oh i have not sown Foxgloves for years,..those i have,..self seeded from the original plants down through the years,..just like @Purplerain,..as a result of self seeding,..mine also have started growing in pots on pathways and with rose bushes where i leave them until the weather improves at the end of Winter before moving them to a permanent spot.
