?lithops

Hello, I was given this plant around august time. I was told it was a lithops and that needed very little watering.I think I have just watered once, maybe 2 teaspoons of water around october time.
I kept it in the conservatory till it became too cold, and now it's in the living room but it just keeps shrivelling. Some leaves, as you can see, have died, but new ones seem to keep coming.
So my questions are: does it need more water? do I need to put in in a bigger pot? can I do anything to stop from shrivelling away? it's just doesn't look like a very happy plant to me.

Thanks,
Sara

Close. It's Fenestraria aurantiaca “baby toes" which is related to lithops. This is really a dormant period for them so don't water until they wake up in spring or they might just rot. Have a look at this episode of GW (2017 episode 30)

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • cheers,
    I'll leave it alone then.

    Thanks again,
    SAra
