Tree Philodendron Insects/Disease?
I have a tree Philodendron that started having problems after I left it home while I was away for a few weeks. I think I may have overwatered it before I left and let it sit in water too long, or it already had problems when I first bought it and they just weren't visible yet.
When I returned home there were tiny black bugs on the leaves. A few ofothe leaves were dead and had turned to goo/mush. I wiped the bugsboff and sprayed the leaves with water/dish soap/vegetable oil. But the leaves continued to brown and turn yellow. I'm not sure if it's the bugs causing all the problems or if it's a disease or fungus? Any ideas on what is wrong with my plant/what type of insect it is?
Thank you
