Escallonia planting query
I have an escallonia in a pot that could do with being planted out. The forecast for the next 2 days is for mild weather (10 to 12 degrees ), but then turning colder again for at least a week. Should I bite the bullet and get it in the ground, or wait until the Spring?

Personally, if you’ve had some recent hard frosts, I think I’d leave it until the soil is less chilled.

Reading, knitting, cooking and drawing/painting keep me sane at this time of year ... plus a bit of plant planning of course
