The pile that was there last January 2019 ( chopped a non-fruiting Cherry Tree), slowly getting there with a new Rockery at last. Today planted my own grown Ajuga, Carex, lavenders and a Tiarella  , had to be ones in 5cm pots as the depth isn't too deep in places, more to plant tomorrow now it's stay at home season !My design does include a sort of stream effect down on the bottom right but my local GC did not have the smooth pearl stones in stock ATM, will have to wait until we are allowed out to get 4 bags I need . Pleased it's tidied that corner of our garden which is on a slope here in Wales. Will post again when it's planted up.

That's looking very promising @Valleys girl but that's some slope you've got there!

Top to bottom of our garden is on a slope like everybody's back garden on my road, so we have acclimatised over the 12 yrs in our bungalow, it's tiered out the front and 6 tiers out the back with our decking built right at the top, amazing views can't buy that. So yes slope has made it a challenge but hey ho we enjoy it. OH laid the largest stones at the bottom of the rockery so while there's a small fence there it's only for visual effect which after a wire brush down tomorrow is going to be painted by me, white fence is not a good idea . A few more plants to go in tomorrow.
  • Here's a few updated pictures of how my 'lockdown' Rockery matured, will be a bit of Tweeking next Spring maybe, just going to plant up some Fritillary this morning. Oh we are still one of those areas in Wales following the rules as we are not to travel out of county .
