Goji berry

Mine grew rapidly last year and carried loads of tiny non descript flowers in Sept., like minute fuschia flowers, off white with a spot of purple in the throat. I left it to see if the long hot summer made any difference to the cropping but no. Not a single berry. So I began building a compost heap on top of it. Had a look at it a few days ago and the bush is still growing away happily. I think a dose of strong brushwood killer is going to be the answer
