Best wooden garden shed companies?

We want to buy a large new long lasting wooden garden shed which we will assemble ourselves on a base we have built. Which wooden shed companies can others recommend?

  • Build your own from scratch! Use treated 4x2s to make stud walls and a roof and then cover with plywood. You can then have it any size and make it as strong as you like
  • Over the years I personally have used shedstore they have a good range and various quality's depending on your budget.

There are other manufacture's / sellers available.

Have a look on the web and local store's there are thousands out there.

I used Nordic Timber Buildings for mine and was really happy. Pressure treated, with lots of options to upgrade the basic model and add longevity, but at a reasonable price.

Check out local companies rather than ordering something without seeing it first.  If you order on line and it's poor quality you are likely to have problems getting it taken away and your money back.
  • Obviously one has to speak as you find.

But I have to say I have never had any problems ordering online with the company I mentioned in an earlier post, and only ever had one issue with a broken support on a panel,

One phone call and next day a new one was delivered.

Seeing one assembled on a site remember is not the one you will get they usually are very carefully put together with only the best materials used  what you get could be very different and so you could still have problems.

    Very helpful comments: thanks all!
  • Acesheds (in Kent I think) produce sturdy high-quality sheds, to a wide range of customisations. I have a large whitstable pent workshop, and two friends have now also bought sheds there. Can recommend! We're in Cambridgeshire, they may not deliver much further than that.
