Growing coffee?

Can the wild versions of coffee be grown in the U.K.?

    i have an Coffee Arabica plant growing in my conservatory, had it five years and it still hasn't produced even flowers let alone cherries.

    Aw that’s a shame!  I suppose in a conservatory it’s a s good conditions as you can get here too.

    I think the Eden Project have coffee plants (and cocoa) in the rainforest biome, but most of us can't provide those conditions.

    There are some in the Peoples Palace on Glasgow Green so it can be done even that far north if they get the right conditions.

    How about chicory instead?
