You don’t say how you are cycling and it’s hard to say how long it will take, but it can be 6 weeks or more. Have you used a start up product? or have you added ammonia? Have you got a test kit? I can’t see what sort of filter you have, did you add some filter media from the old tank? Definitely join a fish forum.
    Hi a1154,
Firstly when I brought the tank everything was cleaned...then tap water mixed with Aqua safe in it's first week besides API stress coat / zime the readings showed as below and the temp is 76F the same as the small tank and both fish and shrimp seem contented with how it's being run.

    Reading from the new tank.
    pH 7.6
    Ammonia 0.0ppm
    Nitrite 0.0ppm
    Nitrate 0.0ppm

I brought the API proper testing kit.

    Filtering system

I've added nothing from the other tank because of it being bottled water.

Well done for buying a proper test kit.
It sounds like you haven’t started cycling your tank. Have you tested previously and found nitrites/nitrates/ammonia?

Too right. We all know Sterbai are the best anyway.
