Strawberry from seed

Hi there
Can anyone tell me which good strawberry cultivars come true from seed?

I am watching some seeds on eBay and the seller has confirmed that mara des bois is the only one (which he's selling) that will.

Does he speak the truth?

    unless he's used closed pollination and been really,really careful i think he's telling you porkies.
    Strawberries very, very rarely come true from seed, even when self pollinated

    I don't think they'd come true even with closed pollination. Only species do that.

    I bought some mara des bois plants in late autumn from Ken Muir - £15.80 for 12 inc P&P
    I wouldn't trust seeds from ebay in general - too many blue strawberry seeds and the like
