carnivorous plants

OK, so I want some big beautiful carnivorous plants in my Surrey garden but I worry about something - don't think I'm daft - but can someone tell me if they eat bees? I've also got a wildlife garden going on and don't want to kill anything I've encouraged into the garden eeek!

    not really, they even put thier flowers up high to stop bee's being caught, they love wasps though!
    i would recommend Sarracenia's, in particular any of the purperea or flava hybrids and Darlingtonia's as well will do well, you just need to keep them all damp/wet

    I did once find a bee trapped in one of my Sarracenias, but I rescued it. Apart from that, I have never seen any sign of them being caught, it is mostly flies that they catch.
