Mysterious intruder

The attached plant appeared in a pot of snowdrops.  I am unable to identify it does anyone have any ideas please   Betty Palmer

    That looks like Euphorbia Lathyris, Caper Spurge.

    It’s Euphorbia lathyris ... they commonly self sow and pop up in gardens.

    They can form a handsome plant if you have the space for them but beware the white sap which can cause photosensitivity and a nasty rash/burn if you get it on your skin in bright sunlight. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
