A welcome present but what to do with it?

I received a Gardener’s Box of Tricks over Christmas which I’m very happy with, if a little clueless.

Apart from the plant markers, what am I supposed to with these please?

Most of it looks like it's for fastening plants to supports.
Not sure about the thin wire or the binding.  The wire looks like florist's wire - the stuff that's used to bind sprigs of greenery onto a base to make a wreath (I dismantled a bought one yesterday).
The hooks are presumably to put up in the shed and hang tools from.
    Nice box as well!

Personally I'd love a box of things like that that might turn out to be useful one day (although they probably won't be), but then I'm a hoarder of such things. I agree with Jenny that most look like fastenings for plants.

I think the only element I wouldn't use is the binding wire, and possibly the flower link holders, as I'm not into flower arranging.  I would certainly find a use for everything else.

Agree with jennyj about the 12 tool hangers. If you look them up separately online you should be able to see how they work.

Are there any you can't work out in particular?
The strips of green with a round bit each end lock together to form a ring.
The green rings with a slight overlap look a bit like a sweet pea ring but plastic ( they are often wire but do not overlap). That kind of idea.

The sprung clips you squeeze I have never seen but guess the plant stem goes in first then the smaller  (opening) would clip around or onto a cane or trellis or support?

The strips with wavy edges are adjustable ties . Twist to move between the ridges they sit with the narrower bit in the flat end slit.

    All things tie-able.
Sorry got carried away if that is what you are asking :D
Lovely box and a thoughtful gift :)

I would use the clips to attach anti bird netting to a frame such as you might put over strawberries

Bottom centre ...a cane goes in the smaller hole then the plant in the larger one
The rolls of string are always handy, make a cane frame around plant and weave the string round and round to keep plant intact.

The wire,  can’t see how thick or strong it is, if it’s fine, it’s florists wire, if it’s strong it’s good for tying to screws on a wall or fence for climbing plants.  Raffia will tie plants to the stretched wires.

The binding the bottom left corner, soft ties for trees or trunks on shrubs, middle left, looks like they press stud together, maybe you could take the item out of the box and just show one.

I’m sure  you’ll find a use for all of it.   Nice little gift.
