    Is it maybe one of the variegated Japanese Hakone grasses?  Sorry, don't remember the name, but I almost bought some a few years ago.

    This is a hardy agapanthus don't know the name
    The bees love it.

    Great fun looking through your lovely gardens. I wouldn’t be game to plant so closely. Worried about snakes waiting to strike a hand. My garden is asleep at the moment with minus temps each night, but in the warmer months, I plant with large gaps between. 😳😁

    @AnniD, that Helenium is beautiful, it looks similar to El Dorado but I believe that one has a brown cone, which one is yours? I’m very firmly hooked on Heleniums.
