Treating Lawn moss
From the hot dry summer our south facing lawns suffered being browned and in certain areas killed off. Once the rains came, I used some Chicken manure pellets to try and put some life into the soil to help the surviving lawn.
But moss has appeared in the burnt areas despite trying to improve the soil.
While there is no frost or rain around, can I start to treat the moss using Sulphate of Iron or any of the common moss killers now.

I don’t like to use it at any time but here in East Anglia we’re getting occasional ground frosts and I’m sure there’s worse to come.
