Yes we have rain, slight breeze and 9°. First rain in a month.
  • We had two showers that lasted 5 minutes each, and so light you could have missed them.  Now bright sunshine, strong wind and boy do we need that rain.

After several days of very warm weather it is cold grey & wet today, I agree we could do with the rain but did the temperature have to drop quite that much?

The grey turned to rain and has lasted most of the morning, did go to allotment worked in poly tunnel sowing lettuce, beans and peas, removed cloche's from onions so they got a watering from the rain
Home for lunch just now and it's brightening up, will go back later to replace cloche's.
The council were on site this morning turning the stand pipes back on.

Sunny with a cold wind and occasional hail. Nice weather to spend lunch in the greenhouse.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
