I'm beginning to think that the BBC make it up as they go along. They seem to be at least 3 degrees out with the temperature every day. At the moment it's supposed to be around 22 degrees, it is definitely higher than that . Thermometer shows 25.5 degrees. They have also forecast rain in the form of showers for the past few days, but apart from a few drops at 4am this morning, nowt.
So at 4pm, it's 25.5 degrees, sunny and quite a breeze blowing . Glos.

Driven to Nuneaton , nice sunny day
  • It beats driving in the rain GWRS.

After a damp start the weather has improved as the day progressed. Now we have a beautiful blue sky, light breeze and very comfortable temperature.  Perhaps some rain tonight.

Central Texas currently at 7pm we're reading 35ºC.  Will be hitting 38º-39ºC for 6 days straight starting Thursday.  :(  Other than my wild Turk's Cap (Malvaviscus drummondii), my plants do NOT like that at all.  Nor do I.  I'll just have to water often and stay indoors, hoping the garden makes it on its own.
