Sunny and dry but not very warm - only 6 at the moment. @Hampshire_Hog - I notice that your weather reports (thank you for those) contain the soil temperatures at different depths. May I ask how these are obtained - do you have temperature probes? My digital weather forecaster is not that technical, so I'm interested. We do have an ordinary soil thermometer which I must get out of the shed.
Very mixed sunshine & showers some with hail in them. Trying to go to the Allotment to pick some purple Broccoli for dinner every time I think I will go it rains again.
Blue sky, sunshine and wind here, the first proper sunshine we have had for many days. I do hope this wind drops soon, our plants are really taking a battering (and so are the slates and everything else around here).
