    Lashing down with sleet now. I thought the worst of it has passed earlier :/

    All's calm here thank goodness, no rain, no wind in fact the moon is out but a lot of cloud.

    Sunshine ! Hooray !  6 degrees at 8.10 am and apparently set reasonably fair for the rest of the day. Garden here l come. Glos.

    Sunshine and blue skies with just the odd high cloud and best of all the winds dropped at long last.
    Weather at 08.00:  5.0°c, dewpoint 2.1°c, wind 26kph 14kn W, barometer 1004.8 rising, visibility 45km, soil temperature at 20cm 9.0° and at 100cm 8.9°, total rainfall yesterday 2.6mm.

    Sunny and dry but not very warm - only 6 at the moment.  
    @Hampshire_Hog - I notice that your weather reports (thank you for those) contain the soil temperatures at different depths. May I ask how these are obtained - do you have temperature probes?  My digital weather forecaster is not that technical, so I'm interested. We do have an ordinary soil thermometer which I must get out of the shed.

    At long last no rain forecaster well not much. Sun is out, blue sky but more cloud than blue. Looking forward to a few hours in the garden today.

    Very mixed sunshine & showers some with hail in them. Trying to go to the Allotment to pick some purple Broccoli for dinner every time I think I will go it rains again.

  • Blue sky, sunshine and wind here, the first proper sunshine we have had for many days.  I do hope this wind drops soon, our plants are really taking a battering (and so are the slates and everything else around here).
