Raw and cloudy, high 30sF. Nor'easter blowing in overnight to dump anywhere from 10-16 inches of snow, depending on who you listen to. NOAA says at least 12 inches. I just went out to measure the snowpack and we're down to 16.5 inches, so this will boost it a little. No dry well this year, hopefully!

Cornwall. It was "HOT" yesterday afternoon, dry and windy. Ideal drying washing weather. Thought today was going to be similar. No such luck. Overcast, grey, raining. Bang goes drying the washing outside.
Waiting for the sun to come up so I can start cleanup. We were lucky over here on the east side of the state; we had about 13 inches of heavy, wet snow with winds gusting 40-50 mph. The western side of the state saw snow totals of over 30 inches. I don't envy them today! Per the local news, tens of thousands are without power. We were lucky and it never blinked here. Today the winds will continue to gust 20-30 mph and with the wind chill it will feel like the high 20sF. Then we slide into sapping weather; 20sF at night, 40sF during the day. Folks already have started tapping the maples and sugar shacks are preparing to boil.
