30F and snowing like crazy. Another 5 inches so far, to add to the 5 inches we had the other day. It's light and fluffy, so at least it's easy to manage.

10 inches of snow @CrankyYankee!! Do you like the snowy, cold Winters? I suppose you are ‘geared-up’ and prepared but I was just wondering if you just see it as the weather of the season, or is it actually a bit of a chore/hassle? I’ve always thought snow is only ok in a place that’s used to it and can live and work around it i.e. NOT the UK!
@AuntyRach if I didn't mind it, I'd be in trouble. We have another 4-8 inches of snow expected Friday, so that does get
tiring, cleaning up after each storm when they're back to back. I'm in an area with a lot of ski mountains and extensive snowmobile trails, and many locals make their money plowing driveways & doing cleanup, so the snow translates to winter income around here. For such a warm and rainy start, this winter has really turned itself around and that's a great thing. I'm just sad that I probably won't see my gardens until mid-April at this rate!

We are getting some proper rain this morning. How the garden will appreciate it. Okay, so it'll help the weeds (sorry, plants in the wrong place) too, but I can deal with those.
2mm of rain yesterday, bringing the total for February to a measly 5.5mm. That's about 40mm short of the long-term average figures. January was at about half the long term average. Very worrying. Fingers crossed for a wetter spring and summer 🤞.
