Not long got back from allotment and freezing fog is rolling across the fields
  • Got a bit cold here now and the garden pond has frozen. Noticed this visitor having a stole about on it earlier.

Snow fell overnight which is rare in Llandudno, sheltered as we are by the sea on two sides, and big lumps of limestone on the other two. It quickly thawed on the roads and paved areas, but the grass and borders kept a thin crust until the afternoon.

In a word, freezing. We have a very hard frost and thick cloud. Minus 2.5 at 8.30am. Glos.
    Happy New Year  :)

Such clear sky’s  last night , really bright Moon , I thought we would have another hard frost but not so
Will go for a nice long walk this morning
  • Hard frost here and still lingering. -5.4C last night.
  • It was frosty and icy last night. I had to pick up Mr Purple Rose from work around 10pm and the front of our house was very slippy. I had to put some grit down. I had to go careful as when driving on patches I could feel the car on ice.

This morning has been sunny and showery rain
