Got home at 6pm and there was ice forming on the surface of puddles and the water in the bird bath. Brrr!

What a difference this calm, dry weather makes to the garden and giving us a feeling of well-being. We did so much outside today.

The temperature is dropping quickly - 0.7 deg at 9.40 pm now. It was a glorious day though so don't mind it getting cold.

After a promising start with a beautiful sunrise, the sun disappeared mid morning. Becoming windier and without the sunshine the day has been cool but not cold.
