    Stream at side of garden , a raging torrent , not seen this much water going down it in a long time

    We don't have rivers here, if we did they would be overflowing - it's raining again today, not solidly but the showers are heavy when they come.

    Stopped raining this morning , so did a couple of jobs outside but looks like it might start again 
    Lots of localised flooding

    Lovely sunny day, able to finish the potato plot I was digging and make a start on the next, this afternoon a stroll at our local nature reserve, with a few autumn colour photos.

    We saw the sun!  Yes, we actually had sunshine for 2 or 3 hours after heavy showers and beautiful double rainbows this morning.

    In spite of forecasts to the contrary we have actually had 2 dry days in a row. Rain in the night though.

    Good morning all frost and fog start to the day, now sunny but rain later

    Good morning , sun currently out , really need a few dry days , stream at side of house is a bit higher and we have standing water on lawn , that’s never happened before
