It's tipping it down here in Bucks and the forecast is for rain all day.

It's doing my lawn good but means I can't do any of the outdoor jobs I wanted to do

    In a word, wet.
Heavy rain and quite windy overnight. Mild though, 14 degrees at 8am. Glos.

After a cold start temperature is due to rise to high 20's this afternoon. I know I shouldn't say this but really looking forward to some rain on Tuesday. Water butts are empty and everywhere is still parched.

We have rain @floralies.  Not enough to make up for all the drought but enough, I hope, to make this year's plantings of roses and clems and perennials feel happier and to start getting down deep under the magnolia which has been looking very sorry for itself all year.

We have very frustrating short, sharp showers interposed with very short sunshiney dry bits.
