    Nottingham. 1pm sleet 1.30pm hail.  2pm Snow settling on grass, slush on pavements.

    coldest morning of the year, down to 13 on the CH sensor, bitterly cold winds, when I strolled up the garden, sunshine but showers forecast.

    At the moment (10.50 am), sunshine but with a very cold wind. Nowhere near as strong as it was, but still pretty breezy. 5 degrees, but doesn't include the wind chill !
