Cornish hedge/dry stone wall hedging plants

Hello,
just looking for some advice... We have built a Cornish hedge/dry stone wall on our Coastal site and want to plant some evergreen hedging in the top for some screening... We really like Olearia haastii and reckon it will be coastal and hardy enough but wanted some reassurance that it will be ok in the hedge and not cause any damage, I know they are pretty solid and can grow most things but just wanted to check. Many thanks.

I can see no problems with Olearia,. Maybe have a look around and see what others are using?
