Weed on our lawn

    I've had it too. Assumed it was ragwort and hoiked it out for aesthetic reasons rather than a danger to London wildlife. Would be interested to know if it was something else as it's always popping up. 
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • Looking at your area MadPenguin you are not too far north of us, so with your coastal, perhaps sandy soil I am sure you will have just the same wild plants that we see here.

    I am not so sure of London B3, unless you have been to the south or America for your holidays and inadvertently carried some seed home in your luggage?  We are lucky to have a local wild plant group here who were able to name the weed, perhaps you can find a similar group on your vicinity?

    The plant on my meadow lawn has now flowered so is a positive ID for Erodium Moschatum or Musk Storksbill
