Asparagus still growing in January

Hello, I know we have had unusual weather this year but I am a bit concerned as to why my asparagus is still pushing out new shoots? The bed was only laid this spring, with two year old crowns of ginjlim and conovers collosus, is this going to affect next year's crop?

I'm not sure, it's probably the mild weather to blame but I would be inclined to cut off the new shoots so the plants concentrate on making good root growth.
