White flecks on Kentia palm

Hi
Ive had a Kentia palm (indoors) for 6 months or so. It seems pretty healthy but I’ve noticed white flecks along the leaves and around the base stems of the plant. I’m guessing mealybug though no signs of any movement but I guess they are small. Any advice? Should I get rid of the plant?

    It may be scale insects.
See if you think these images look the same

  • Yes. I had googled images to see if I could identify and did consider this. I’m not sure if it’s worth trying to treat...

    That's a decision you'll have to make :)
You could try and cut out the worst affected bits and see if the rest recovers
