The A-Z was just clips re-cut from other shows.

I would certainly add How To Be a Gardener to the list.  If it's not on Youtube, google it for the online version - starts with what plants need to grow on a general level then gets into soils, aspect, hardiness etc and how to plant, prune, combine etc.   Excellent stuff.

Apparently in North America they also have something called Britbox which is a subscription service owned by BBC/ITV and is very popular... lots of stuff on that, including Gardeners' World...   they get shows streamed just a few hours after they are shown over here...    perhaps that is available in your location haney?..

Lots of good suggestions there haney - hopefully you can get some interesting viewing to suit you  :)

Just remember, you'll have to adjust some of the advice to fit your area and climate etc, but you can always come back and ask if there's anything you're unsure about. Someone here will be able to help  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Hi Haney.  As Marlorena said britbox is available by subscription, either on your Roku device or through Amazon Video.

Good call on britbox, I found that last night. They do however only have the most recent season of Gardeners World. Hopefully they’ll have new episodes as they come out.

Anyways, thanks everyone for all the suggestions!

We got hooked last year after finding "Big Dreams" on Netflix. We found GW available through Amazon video with their BritBox subscription--but unfortunately, the new 2019 episodes still aren't available. :(

Try Youtube.  I've seen it posted on there.

You could try an online proxy site to fool iPlayer into believing you’re in the UK. It is how I get around YouTube’s region block so I can watch Last Week Tonight.

I’ve taken a look at what’s on there and sadly it’s all such poor quality that you can barely make out any detail on the gardens/plants.

Stuff like that makes me really nervous. I wouldn’t want to get sued by BBC.

You won't.  We live in France but have TV on Sky and Freeview but OH has all sorts of stuff, including BBC i-Player, that he watches on his PC via Nordvpn but, apparently, he pays for the license which covers 3 or 4 PCs.   Just a few euros a month.
