Ever tried planting crocuses this late?
in Plants
I'm tempted to get some crocus bulbs. Is it best to:
a) pop them in the ground now and hope for the best (we're yet to have a hard frost... Winter feels late this year...)
b) store them until October to plant (do they keep well?)
c) forget about it until next autumn, buying bulbs nearer the time?
FWIW I'm in the South East and have a sheltered north-facing garden.

Otherwise, wait till next autumn and plant fresh bulbs.
Anything shrivelled, as Obelixx says, isn't likely to do well though, so better to buy fresh later in the year.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Packets and loose bulbs/corms are on sale from early August, so any left over now are probably not worth buying.
