When do snowdrops come up?

Mine do not really appear till late January, but then they start to grow and flower very suddenly, so just be patient.

Squirrels don't eat my snowdrops, but they love crocus, and camassia are like caviar to them.

I was out in the garden this morning and accidentally dug up some crocuses. Thought I'd put them in my snowdrop spot after giving up on snowdrops in my garden, so I started clearing the area. Then I saw something exciting...
...My snowdrops are coming up!

Wow, your snowdrops are way ahead of mine Lizzie ! Mine are more like Garden noob's, but it is very heartening to see them poking their noses through.
