Thank you @Songbird-1 aka Hazel! Yes Buddy is a real softie. The dog walker keeps us up to date with photos and even videos of his antics.

Hello @Songbird-1, l've just seen your question to @Valley Gardener. The @ nbsp  addition is some kind of glitch that's been going on for a while. It doesn't show when you type in someone's name,  only appears when the post is posted, and can't be edited (as far as l know, l have tried in the past). There's a very technical explanation for it that l don't pretend to understand.
Also the business of "your latest post showing as a new notification against your own login" problem still going on, or at least it was yesterday.
Edited to add, it's still happening !

...I would guess that nbsp is some form of encoded character - ie you type '@name ' and then hit backspace to get rid of the space - or some such.

Hi @Songbird-1 Just responding to your comments on my primroses thank you. :)  Bought a few a couple of years ago and last year split them so they are spreading nicely.
Have been flowering almost continually and not just at this time of the year. One plant you can depend on.
  • Its quite odd @Songbird-1 but as AnniD says, its been going on for a while now,not on every post, just some.

@Fran IOM  I have a Cowslip that has been flowering all year,it never quite stops, nice to see it though.😊
