Concur with the advice above. Ditch the electronics that's just adding to the anxiety. You can look up dream meanings on Internet which might help pinpoint the trigger for the dreams. Others seek professional help if it's that bad CBT,meditation and hypnotherapy all should have some to offer x
It's a deeply rooted problem from years ago, violent ex. She's having counselling,it's just this dream thing ruling her life. Thanks for the herb update Obelixx, she needs a pillow made of them. And I agree Dove, ditch the fitbit! Now looking into Crystal therapy, personally I think a proper hypnotist is the way to go.

Oh bless her! It does sound as if that's the root of the problem ... hopefully the counselling will help lay the ghost for her ... sometimes things get worse before they get better ... if she looks at it as a stage on a journey and looks forward to the destination it might help.
It might be that the fitbit is now ruling her life as her ex once did ... get rid of it and take back control.
Sending positive thoughts ... I do hope she gives the hypno-therapy a look.

An Indian friend of mine has told me that basil is a sacred plant in Hinduism. I have always loved all herbs but now I shall look at basil with different eyes!
