If everyone kept their mouth shut, this forum would not work very well
wise words again. I've voiced an opinion about a genre of TV, I've not insulted anyone, their family or their friends . Perhaps some people need to develop a bit more of a backbone and learn the simple life lesson that not everyone agrees with them. I think the term is "snowflakes" but I might be wrong. ( as so often I am )
Snowflake as a slang term involves the derogatory usage of the word snowflake to refer to a person. Its meaning may include a person perceived by others to have an inflated sense of uniqueness or an unwarranted sense of entitlement, or to be over-emotional, easily offended, and unable to deal with opposing opinions. Netflix is definitely worth the money if you like good dramas as well as reality TV. Some of the comedies are fantastic as well. They do stuff that mainstream TV won't do. And they have some great classic TV. Yesterday I was watching French & Saunders from the very first episode. Forgot how young they were!
As for Big Dreams.... I've watched a couple but makeover TV isn't really my thing. Not sure what kind of gardening programme we could have in the winter. Maybe a history of great gardens? With details of what plants and trees and stuff.
I wish I was a glow worm A glow worm's never glum Cos how can you be grumpy When the sun shines out your bum!
I saw all the episodes on Netflix. I still think that Monty gave terrible advice to the couple who developed a big stream in their little sloping garden in London. In fact, he just seems to pop along at the end of all the garden make overs with accompanying dramatic music.
I can't wait for the season to begin though, with Beechgrove and Gardeners World. Let's not be grumpy.
