  • Had to do a bit of artificial tree surgery as a couple of branches fell off!

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Love that @Picidae! He looks very pleased with himself 😂 Ta-da!
I think he looks as if he's just landed there, and he's thinking 'Oh 'eck - me  n*ts'  :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

No fear, Fairygirl, he’s been ‘seen to’. Actually the gardener was responsible for decorating the branch and the tree. There’s very little to do in the garden at the moment so instead she helps with festive decorations or does the ironing. It’s a great arrangement.

Your branch thingy is lovely Picidae [apologies for that vague description!] and it's certainly a great arrangement. I used to do lots of greenery around the lounge etc when the girls were little, but I chop and change what I do now. Depends on whether it's dry enough to cut greenery too!
Older one likes to faff around with things, and she did most of the bauble placing, but youngest doesn't really care.
Must take a photo now the tree is up and decorated.

Most of the tree, and a favourite 'bauble'.
