Yogurt
This question has probably been asked on a number of occasions
so I'm sorry to ask again.
When is the best time to paint yogurt onto concrete planters and seats
to give an aging affect and encourage moss and fungi to form.
What type of yogurt (If there is a type) to use
Mel

I think I'd try it at a cool time, but damp. Probaly just missed the best time for this year, so maybe late winter into spring, depending on your conditions. You could do it now and just shelter the pots from the worst of the weather - a quiet corner or under the eaves or similar.
Natural yogurt always seems to be the one recommended.

Don't put it on the seat where you park your bum as it'll rub off and turn your clotehs green in the process.
I added the moveable bit when I realized you said seats....and concrete.
No matter how much you want a mossy effect I just realized a hernia is not the way to get them.
Nothing worse than a mossy hernia at this time of year...
