lobelia

My annual lobelia potted-up and placed in the cold greenhouse shed it's seeds on the compost-covered bench.    Clumps of the seedlings were then potted into individual pots and brought indoors.     I now have them 'saved from the frost' and happily blooming. JOYCENID

    Nice bit of colour over the winter  :) they may go abit leggy due to low light levels at this time of the year. You could sow some more seeds in February for a summer show

    As Perki said a nice bit of colour. Perhaps you won't need to sow any, you may get more in the spring from seeds in the compost bench. :D
    Are your greenhouse conditions warm or frost free jes309?
    I sometimes find an odd one in our garden in sheltered positions after a mild winter, though I don't usually grow them.

    A cold greenhouse and the temperature can fall below zero but I do try to protect them and pots of geraniums by putting a fleece over them on colder nights - but the lobelia is now safely indoors and warm.
