Torch apps on Android phone

    Just tried and it is set to update automatically.  But still no Torch.

    On my phone it is a widget not an app so I failed to find it initially. OH says that on his phone, which is newer than mine, it is accessible from the pull down menu on the home screen.

    If I pull down from the top of the screen, the torch is one of the buttons (I'm on a Samsung though, not an LG).

    Mine's called "flashlight" (HTC android phone) - might be worth checking for that.

    it's a widget on mine, not an app (samsung). It's definitely brighter than the screen

    I've checked for the icon, the torch and the flashlight.  It's definitely not there.

    Excuse the personal question, but do you know where your widgets are? They aren't always in the same place as the apps

    Yep.  Checked the widgets and the apps

    If the update doesn't fix it, there'll probably be some free torch apps in Google Play.

    Try swiping down from the top to open your notifications and then swiping down on that to expand it.  You should then see about 10 or so icons, one of which should be the torch.
