I really like your chicken, and love the idea of eggs ( mmm sugared almonds) .

But ever since you posted your  very nice one, it makes me think of the mad one in The Clangers. And now I can't get it or them out of my head :D

Sorry about that Rubytoo, although I have to admit I only have a vague memory of the Clangers.

Don't know if this link will work. I used to find the chicken very annoying, but l loved the Clangers and the Soup Dragon !

That's okay Lizzie you can't be very old :D

AnniD  That chicken annoyed me too, though I can't remember why now, possibly bossy. And I also loved the Soup Dragon.
    Thanks for the pointer/reminder.

LIzzie27 Sorry for taking your topic off on a tangent.

No probs Rubytoo. I've been casting my mind back, were the Clangers little creatures that squeaked a lot and were on the moon?

I couldn't get hold of any Cadbury's Crème Eggs today to go inside my chicken - don't tell me they now only produce them at Easter!

What about the sugared almonds @Lizzie27 ? . Or maybe you could try online?

Sugared Almonds not an option AnniD because they'd fall through the perforations, but will look online for the eggs.

The Clangers were pink and knitted with long snouts and the noise (their voices), they made was with a whistle called a swanee whistle. Yes the moon :)

Creme eggs I heard a rumour you could not get them other than Easter. But I just looked and seem to be able to buy rather large boxes on the big river site beginning with A. Though can't vouch for the dates.

    I saw this quoted somewhere!
"The eggs are available on sale between January and Easter, only. Make sure you get them before they’re gone!"

They do a caramel one not eggy but egg shaped.

Not Egg shaped but Ferero R's are round and more accessible?
(No idea how the above are spelled).

Could tie a bundle of Almond eggs in some transparent gift wrap with a ribbon on.

Kinder eggs are a bit naff but available?
It is annoying when you have a good idea and it does not go to plan, Good luck.
