    I didn't intent to start a competition either.  I love dogs whether they are bright or thick as two short planks.  Friends of ours used to pet sit homes whilst the owners were away.  We called in to see them at one sit for a Rhodesian Ridgeback.  Anybody who knows them will be aware that they aren't exactly small dogs, but that didn't stop her trying to get up on my lap, and eventually succeeding.

    I still miss my little poodle, as well, but I must say that I thought she was rather smart. The most endearing feature was her loving ways. 😁

    @Pat E sorry for your lose, you've still got all the memories. I still miss bracken from last year. He was such a character.

    Still miss our wonderful Biskit, going on for two years now he's pushing up some blueberry bushes at the top of our garden.

    Biskit was a month short of his 13th birthday. As you can see in that picture we had our house to match his colour, not that we didn't vacuum every day. We never went on holiday without him. <3
