Gauras in the ground

B3B3 Posts: 27,505
I bought a variety of gauras this year. I realise now, that some will be hardier than others. the pale pink one is older and survived the beast but I'm not sure about the others.  They're all in the ground and reasonably sheltered.
Should I leave them alone, or cut them back and mulch them?

Don't cut them back unless you want to try cuttings.  Mulch the crowns and leave the stems to take the frosts.
