Have you written down your ideas on a scale plan? 🧐

Regarding the evergreen at the back of the garden - it gives a nice dark
green back drop to anything in front of it.  Have you thought about the view with it gone?  Looks like some deciduous woodland, will that fit better with your idea? 🙂

    Evening all,

following an inspirational if not expensive, trip to Chelsea I thought I'd post an update on the garden.

The confer was removed - my Husband's decision in the end, we are finally moving forward.  There's a long way to go still.

I think that looks much nicer with the conifer gone - I love the wood background. What fun to plan for the rest - do keep posting photos please. It's great to see before and after photos.

I agree, it certainly has made a difference. As Lizzie says, we like to see photos of progress! It's turning into "your " garden now. :)

I prefer it without the conifer too. Thanks for the photos.

phew!  The extension and patio are now finished.  Who would have thought I would be a dab hand at mixing cement and laying patio slabs.  The shed is erected with water butt and I have an interim composing bin.  Posts are up for the fruit trees - it's all very exciting!
