Seen this growing in a neighbors garden

    Couldn't grow pittosporums in my last garden as it was too cold and wet but, given I have yet to find a good looking specmen of the cornus look-alike which I did grow, I may well look at pittosporums for this garden.
    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    @Obelixx Not sure about la Vendée, but here in Brittany there are lots of pittosporum specimens in gardens. They are usually of moderate height but one superb garden I visited boasts having the largest

    Definitely pittosporum.I bought one the same a few weeks ago .I will have a look at the label tomorrow to confirm exact variety
