Spacing for a Nandina Domestica hedge?

  • @Lizzie27 I think that is the point, to buy one or two very large plants here would cost a lot more even at "trade" rates. Just to say again,  this is not my garden this is  where I volunteer so their parameters will be different to ours in a domestic setting. @Nollie it seems that these plants grow faster / bigger in Spain so maybe you do not need this approach, but I suppose what I am saying is you do not always need to space plants as far apart as the books say, unless you want them to fully develop as mature plants. If you are looking for a hedge or block you space them much closer.
