Can anybody tell me what this plant is? It is growing in my patio and I think it came from bird seed.

That looks like Carthamus Tinctorius, False Saffron. Possible bird seed.

Thanks Borderline for you help. I looked Carthamus Tinctorius up online and yes that's what it is.
