Welcome to the forums. Sorry pic is not detailed enough. Please can you add clear close up pics to show the twigs/leaves/seeds/berries. Where is this tree..UK?
Hmmm...tricky one this ; the trunk resembles Pyrus amygdaliformis , but the foliage (from what I can make out) has a slight likeness (with the serrated leaves) to P.pyrifolia . Indistinct picture .
Probably 100% wrong here , just a shot in the dark .
I can't really see the leaves clearly but could it be a common lime (Tilia x europaea)?
I suspect it is not Tilia x europaea, as this tree is notorious for suckering from the base. Infact as a street tree it is a pain because of this....see pics below taken in the spring showing congested mass of twiggy growth. Leaf shape from what I can see is not right. Normally Lime trees turn a glorious butter yellow in the autumn.
Tilia leaves are more heart shaped, I reckon. My guess would be a prunus of some sort, based on the leaf shape - but the photos aren't really clear enough to be sure.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
