  • I know ... but I thought the Brexit vote was about ‘our elected parliament’ having control?
To liars such truths are irrelevant!

Maybe HRH could be "indisposed" for a few weeks.
    Sadly, very unlikely!

Government to ask Queen to suspend Parliament

It would mean MPs are unlikely to have time to pass any laws that could stop a no-deal Brexit.

I think it would be truer to say that this unelected PM will ask the Queen to suspend parliament for the simple reason that he doesn’t have the backing of the government.

Let's hope that Corbyn can put aside his own interests in favour of the country's and support a temporary leader that the Tory dissidents can stomach.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I don't think he's capable of such altruism.  Sorry!

Brexiters voted Leave because the EU was "undemocratic".  They voted Leave because they wanted Parliament to be "sovereign".  They wanted Brexit with all of the same benefits, without the cost.  Now look what we've got!

The EU wasn't democratic enough for leavers, but are about to let an unelected PM shut down our parliament to force a No Deal Brexit that the majority of parliament and people are against.

I trust brexiters will refrain from using the word “democracy” in relation to this issue. That goose is cooked.

The unelected PM and his co-conspirators know

“There is a tide in the affairs of men

Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune.”

and with Corbyn there, for them it's now.
Then let's wish this "Brutus" and his co-conspirators equal...."fortune".
